$1 Morgan Dollar 1883 MS67 Rainbow Toned

Obverse mint frost is rich and satin-like. Color on the reverse blends blue-violet, gold, lavender, sea green and russet. Very well struck. Surfaces are immaculate. It is an absolutely superb example which would be nearly impossible to duplicate. NGC has certified only 70 pieces at this level; three finer. Worthy of the ultimate Registry set of frosted Mint State Morgan dollars.

$2.5 Gold Liberty 1907 NGC MS67

Golden olive mint luster is thick and satin-like. Meticulously struck. Surfaces are close to absolute perfect quality. It is a truly amazing Liberty Head quarter eagle, and appears high end, even at this lofty level. Only 62 coins have been NGC certified as MS67; four finer. This date is highly desirable as the final year of the design on the quarter eagle denomination.

The most elusive, yet realistically available grade is the MS67.  (We are, of course, are not referring to modern era coins.)  DEI seeks to acquire and sell MS67/PF67 quality rare coins.

With a few exceptions, we also do not believe that either PF68/MS68, PF69/MS69 or PF70/MS70 graded coins from 1955 forward are true rarities.  Indeed, we regard the marketing of these coins as one step below larceny.

MS67 Morgan Dollars, Saint Gauden's and Liberty gold coins remain elusive, yet obtainable.  Because of the state of preservation these coins are not subjected to the short term whims of the marketplace.

Naturally, there are coins which are simply not obtainable in PF67/MS67.  In these cases, we try to acquire and advise MS65/MS66 to our clients.  These coins are the "blue chips" of the coin industry.  In some cases, they can be true musuem quality pieces.  At a minimum, they represent coins that will make superb additions to exceptional registry sets.

Silver coins and bullion also available.
